Events Coordinator

30 hours per week, Actual £19,789 (£26,385 at 40hrs FTE)

The role exists to ensure Ridgeway Centre Conferencing clients receive excellent service from entering the building and throughout their visit, ensuring the building provides a warm, inviting and professional environment.

  • We have a vacancy for a voluntary deputy leader for our Speaking English classes. This ministry offers support and encouragement to people who do not have English as their first language, so they can practise and develop their skills. 

    The ideal candidate will have a love of teaching and a passion for people. They need to be a good problem-solver, be able to support the ministry leader and lead classes when the leader is unavailable. They will be willing to help advertise the classes, promote them at networking and other events, and be able to help expand the ministry.

    No experience is necessary – full training will be provided. The classes meet in The Ridgeway Centre on Wednesday mornings during school term-time between 9.30am and 11.30am.
